About
Ben Couvee is a vocalist with deep roots in musical theater. His first performances were in middle school musicals. He continued with high school productions, while also fine-tuning his skills as a singer and stage performer.
In 2022 Ben was selected to sing at the Boston Symphony Hall as part of the Massachusetts Music Educator’s Association All-State Chorus. He was also nominated for a TAMY High School Music Theater Award for his role as Adolpho in the musical The Drowsy Chaperone.
Ben is a long-time fan of classic pop music. Singing along to recordings of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole, and other notable singers of the standards helped him to adapt their music to his own style.
When not performing, Ben is working towards an undergraduate degree in music education. He also enjoys writing, composing music, history and relaxing with friends and family.
